Astra 8 -How to cancel an event

NOTES:

The website does timeout. If left alone for a few minutes, you will have to log back in.


STEP 1:

Navigate to astra.eou.edu.


STEP 2:

Locate the event you wish to cancel. You can do this from the calendar or scheduling grids.


STEP 3:

From the scheduling grids view:

  1. [Red Box] Move your mouse over the event name. Click or hover. It will take a second for the pop up to load.
  2. [Purple Box] Click View Event Details.

STEP 4:

To delete the event with all the meetings under it or if it is a single event.

This will remove any recurring meetings. Further down is how to cancel individual meetings within an event or group.

  1. [Red Box] - Click the pencil icon.
  2. [Orange Box] - Click Cancel.
  3. [Green Box] - Click Save in the top-left corner.

To cancel individual meetings within an event or group.

From the meetings tab in the second half of the screen:

  1. [Green Box] - Select the meeting you would like to cancel.
  2. [Red Box] - Click Edit Selected.

STEP 5:

  1. [Green Box] - Click Cancel.
  2. Click Apply in the lower right hand corner. Do this for all the meetings you would like cancel.

STEP 6:

[Red Box] Click Save if you have more changes or click Save and Close if you are finished.
