How to download and archive a single Gmail message
Option #1
- Select the Gmail message you wish to download and click the 3 dots on the right hand side of the web browser.
- A new web browser tab will open and display a prompt to print the email. Either select the printer you’d like to print the email to or select “Save as PDF” to create a digital file to save to your computer.
Option #2
- Select the Gmail message you wish to download and click the 3 dots on the right hand side of the web browser.
- Select "Download Message"
- The file download as a EML file. Double-click on the EML file to be able to view the email in your computer’s default email client.
