How do I add a success team member

Adding a Success Team Member

  1. While viewing the Student you wish to add the Success Team Member to, hover over the Success Team Members (Student) quick link at the top: Image

  2. Click the New Success Team Member Button.

  3. You will then be prompted to select a record type. The options are Faculty or Other. Note: only Advising Center Advisors have permission to create a Faculty Success Team Member. Once you have selected the record type select Continue.

    • Faculty - This record type is for adding additional advisors such Faculty Advisors, Advising Center Advisors, or Regional Advisors.
    • Other - This record type if for adding Coaches, Mentors, tutors, etc. Image
  4. Select the magnifying glass icon next to the Success Team Member field to search for the Success Team Member you wish to add. Image

  5. If you are unable to find the member you are looking for, remember that Salesforce searches are based on legal name. Once you have found your desired Success Team Member, click their name in the search results to select them. Image

  6. Set a category and optionally a subcategory to define the type of Success Team Member they are. The subcategory is only available when you select specific categories. Image

  7. If you would like the Success Team Member to be replicated down as a secondary in Banner, check the box for “Secondary in Banner”. Image

  8. Once Completed, select the Save button that is located at the top and bottom of the screen. Image

  9. To make the Success Team Member Primary after adding the Success Team Member, select the Make Primary Success Team Member button located at the top and the bottom of the Success Team Member Record. Image
