How do I connect to the EOU Wi-Fi network?

In order to connect to the EOU Wi-Fi network, you will need the following:

General Connection Instructions

  1. Enable Wi-Fi on your device, and select the EOU network from the list of available networks
  2. When prompted, fill in your Mountie Pass username and password
    • NOTE any time your Mountie Pass password changes, you will need to update the connection with the new password!
  3. If prompted, trust the server certificate for cppm.eou.edu

Android Connection Instructions

  1. Enable Wi-Fi on your device, and select the EOU network from the list of available networks
  2. When prompted, fill in the following settings:
    • EAP method = PEAP
    • Phase 2 authentication = MSCHAPV2 if available; otherwise select None
    • CA certificate = Use system certificates if available; otherwise select Do not validate
    • Domain = The domain is eou.edu. This option may only appear if you selected Use system certificates for the CA certificate setting.
    • Identity = Your Mountie Pass username (e.g., mmountaineer@eou.edu or mmountaineer)
    • Password = Your Mountie Pass password
      • NOTE any time your Mountie Pass password changes, you will need to update the connection with the new password!
    • Leave other settings at default
  3. Click Connect or Save to save the settings and connect to the network

ChromeOS Connection Instructions

  1. Enable Wi-Fi on your device, and select the EOU network from the list of available networks
  2. When prompted, fill in the following settings:
    • EAP method = PEAP
    • Phase 2 authentication = Automatic if available; otherwise select MSCHAPv2
    • Server CA certificate = Default if available; otherwise select Do not check
    • Identity = Your Mountie Pass username (e.g., mmountaineer@eou.edu or mmountaineer)
    • Password = Your Mountie Pass password
      • NOTE any time your Mountie Pass password changes, you will need to update the connection with the new password!
    • Leave other settings at default
  3. Click Connect to save the settings and connect and connect to the network
