How to cancel an event in Astra

STEP 1:

Navigate to astra.eou.edu.


STEP 2:

Locate the event you wish to cancel. You can do this from a calendar or from the Events tab.


STEP 3:

From the calendar view:

  1. Move your mouse over the event name. Don’t click. It will take a second for the pop up to load. [Red box]
  2. Click View Event Details. [Purple box]


STEP 4:

Click the Edit button [Red Box].


STEP 5:

Delete the event with all the meetings under it.

This will remove any recurring meetings. Further down is how to cancel individual meetings.

  1. [Red box] - Click the pencil icon.

  2. [Orange box] - Click Cancel.

  3. [Green box] - Click Save in the top-left corner.

How to cancel individual meetings within an event.

From the meetings tab in the second half of the screen:

  1. [Red box] - Click the pencil icon next to the meeting you would like to cancel.

  2. [Orange box] - Click Cancel.

Do this for all the meetings you would like cancel.

[Green box] - Click Save in the top-left corner.
