my.EOU Portal 2-Factor Authentication


2-Factor Authentication is a security measure to help make your EOU account more secure. A code will be used alongside your user name and password when authenticating in the my.EOU portal. The code will be produced from a mobile app on your phone.** 2-Factor Authentication is currently optional for all my.EOU accounts. **

Log-In Using 2-Factor Authentication

  1. Login to the my.EOU portal
  2. Open the Google Authenticator app.
  3. Enter the code shown in the app into the computer or mobile browser window when prompted.

Setup 2-Factor Authentication

Step 1:

Download Google Authenticator App on your phone

Step 2:

From within your my.EOU OneLogin profile page, click the plus sign to the far-right of the 2-Factor Authentication line.

Step 3:

You should see a window similar to the screenshot below.

  1. In the Choose Vendor field be sure to select Google Authenticator.
  2. In the Name field you can choose to rename it like EOU portal 2-Factor or you could leave the default
    • if you have multiple 2-Factors in the Google Authenticator app, rename it to something identifiable. This will alleviate confusion.

Step 4:

Scan QR Code

  1. Open the Google Authenticator app.
  2. Click the plus button.

Step 5:

Scan the barcode shown on your computer

  • Make sure that it’s between the red lines shown on your screen.

Step 6:

Type the code given by the scanner into the Security Code field on your computer. Once complete, hit continue.

You’re all done setting up 2-Factor authentication for your account.
