IT will provide a link to a custom ShareFile for your department. To upload a file simply fill out and submit the form.


  1. Login to ShareFile
  2. You should see a list of shared folders
  3. Click on your departments folder
  4. Click the Inbox folder

All files submitted using your department’s form will appear in the Inbox folder. You can click on a file to download it, or move it to another folder.


  1. Login to ShareFile
  2. Click Inbox on the left
  3. Click the gray Compose button
  4. Fill in the relevant information
  5. Recipient’s: recipient’s email address
  6. Subject: something descriptive
  7. Message: optional
  8. Drag files into the window, or click Browse files
  9. Click Edit Message Options (optional)
  10. Click Send

Suggested Message Options:

  • Encrypt message: checked
  • Access expires: Something other than never (content dependant)

The recipients will receive an email with a link to a secure file download.
